The port possess modern IT terminal operation and management system, which improve the productivity substantially.
Furthermore, Cat Lai port is linked to the National Highway No.1, the inner and outer belt Highways, HCM-Long Thanh- Dau Giay Highway via the Inter-province Highway 25. This highway allows vehicles with loading capacity of up to 30 tons. Through these highway, goods are transported from Cai Lai Port to vibrant and dynamic economic zones in Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and other provinces of Cua Long Delta quickly and conveniently.
According to a survey, Cat Lai handles approximately 50% of the total number of containers in Vietnam and 85% of that in the South of Vietnam.
