WE MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU

Vietnam’s customs regulations are well known to be much more complicated than those of other countries, with special regulations and government agencies. Indochinapost makes it easy for you by making it quick and transparent.
Working with Indochinapost Logistics is the best way to ensure that your shipments are imported/exported successfully and that you are not overcharged in duties or taxes.

Customs Brokerage Services We Offer Include:

Clearance & Consulting: If your company needs to export or import goods from Vietnam, you should work with a customs brokerage firm that can get your shipment through customs promptly. Indochinapost Logistics Vietnam is comprised of a highly experienced team of customs brokers and a logistics supervisor. Our brokers are licensed by the VN Customs Department and are well-versed in tariff and customs laws, allowing them to anticipate and avoid potential customs clearance obstacles.

Permit application: Depending on the goods you are importing/exporting, you may require special permission from government agencies such as the Ministry of Health, MOIT, and the Department of Agriculture. Our customs clearing agents work with the appropriate agencies to ensure that your merchandise complies with all rules and regulations before entering the country.

Importer of Record (IOR): Your client in Vietnam may purchase spare parts or replacements and simply require the items to be delivered as quickly as if they were purchased domestically. They also do not want to be involved in a complicated documentation procedure. Indochinapost Logistics can secure your transaction with IOR service, removing a potential stumbling block in the shipping process.

Project logistics: One of the most difficult types of work performed by a customs representative is project-customs clearance. Typically, this entails customs clearance of production equipment (from single lines to a whole complex of equipment for a factory or a plant). The number of machines and equipment imported into Vietnam has increased significantly over the last decade. Foreign investors, particularly those from China, who are starting or expanding production must choose the type of transaction in which used equipment from China is sold. Indochinapost Logistics is an expert in project-customs clearance. We’re able to help you get through the complexity of customs clearance for used equipment in Vietnam. We’re also able to arrange smooth OOG transportation for heavy or over-dimensional items and hoisting.

Transshipment: Indochinapost Logistics is one of the few Customs Brokers in Vietnam with an MTO license (#14-14/ GP-BGTVT) and can provide transshipment and cross-border bonded trucking to Cambodia via Vietnam ports and airports. Your clients may occasionally sell to Cambodian buyers who prefer delivery via Vietnam. With our transshipment service, Indochinapost Logistics can assist you in securing such a requirement.

Fairs and Exhibitions: Please be aware that Vietnam is not yet a member of the ATA Carnet agreement. Depending on the goods you are importing/exporting, you may require special permission from government agencies such as the Ministry of Health, MOIT, and the Department of Agriculture for temporary import. Our customs clearing agents work with the appropriate agencies to ensure that your merchandise complies with all rules and regulations before entering the country.

Unaccompanied personal effects: We specialize in customs clearance of personal effects, and we offer a full Customs and Quarantine clearance service, including delivery to your client’s door. Yes, our professional service will handle everything; all your client needs to do is be home on the scheduled delivery day. Our dedicated team of customs brokers is fully licensed with the Vietnam Customs Office and has over 15 years of customs clearance experience.

Certificate of Origin application: If your client buys from suppliers in Vietnam who sell Ex-works without C/O application service, your client may seek the assistance of a broker who can assist with this issue so that their goods may be granted preferential tariffs under the relevant Free Trade Agreement. This does help to save a lot of money in terms of duty. The experienced team at Indochinapost Logistics can guide you through this often complicated process.

Remote Location Filing: Because our brokers have the national permits and computer technology required to qualify for remote location filing, we can file data for clients from any location promptly, regardless of the port of entry of the imported goods. This allows us to simplify the shipping process for many of our customers. However, keep in mind that for shipments classified as yellow or red lines, the client must send us paper documents to be submitted to the Customs office.

Cargo Manifest: Cargo Manifest rules apply if you are shipping international ocean cargo. This means that your shipment’s information must be submitted to the Vietnam Customs Office at least 48 hours before the ocean vessel arrives in a Vietnam port. Indochinapost Logistics has extensive experience with Cargo Manifest rules, and we will ensure that all necessary information is delivered to the Customs Office on time. This is a complimentary service we offer to agents who send shipments to us.

Once you try our services, we are confident you will be pleased. Our team has over 15 years of combined experience in customs clearance, and we’re able to streamline the international shipping process while keeping you informed every step of the way.
