ORGANIZE BY SKU (STOCK KEEPING UNIT)

SKU is a commodity code that consists of a string of characters (alphanumeric) that is used to identify the location of goods in a warehouse. It is possible to quickly determine the warehouse storage area by using this SKU code. For example, the suggested SKU code for shoe products stored in area A, row 1, floor 03, cell 11, red, size 38 is A10311DO38. This is the type of arrangement that can be considered obligatory. Setting SKU codes does not have a standard format; instead, it is determined by the convention of each business.

INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE USED TO IDENTIFY GOODS.

Putting an instruction label with the item number, product name, date of arrival, and manufacturer is the quickest way to identify goods in stock. The signs indicating the location and type of goods will aid in quickly covering the warehouse and correctly arranging the goods.
By affixing signs throughout the warehouse, even new employees will have no trouble locating specific types of goods. Furthermore, pasting product codes on cabinets and shelves creates a neat, scientific, and easy-to-find appearance.
